Belmont is a late 19th century neighborhood consisting primarily of two 1890’s era subdivisions, Belmont and Carlton. The community offers a unique blend of housing with some of the area’s best dining choices mixed throughout the subdivision. Belmont is home to some of Charlottesville’s most loved neighborhood restaurants –The Local, Mas Tapas, and Tavola–and is one of the most affordable communities within walking distance to Downtown, making it an ideal locations for those who want to live close to the heart of Charlottesville. Quarry Park

Quarry Park is in the Belmont area off Monticello Avenue/Route 20 South on Quarry Road at the southern edge of the city. Quarry Park includes one major baseball field, one minor baseball field and a t-ball field.  There is a parking lot, and some off-street parking is also available. The Rivanna Trail, a system of foot trails in and around the City, runs near Quarry Park behind the baseball fields.

Belmont Park

Belmont Park is one of Charlottesville’s best recreational spaces. The park features a playground, spray ground, large grassy areas, pavilions, and shady oak trees for residents to enjoy year-round.
